Why does Mecmua ask for the microphone?

Only for Passive mode, where the canvas keeps drawing in response to the sound in the room. Mecmua reads the loudness of three frequency bands and discards the audio immediately — nothing is recorded, saved or sent anywhere. Deny the permission and Passive mode still runs on its own internal clock.

Does changing the symmetry group destroy my drawing?

No. The symmetry is a fold applied while the drawing is rendered, not a set of stamped copies. Switch group at any time and your existing strokes re-fold into the new one. The change is a normal undo step.

Why is 64 mirrors as fast as 2?

Mecmua folds the canvas coordinate once, before any ink is evaluated, instead of drawing one copy of your stroke per mirror. The cost of a frame does not grow with the number of mirrors, and a stroke takes the same memory at 2 mirrors as at 64.

Is the 8K export upscaled?

No. A drawing is stored as the record of your strokes, not as pixels, so an 8K export is drawn again at 8K. Nothing is enlarged from the screen resolution.

What does the one-time unlock include?

Mecmua Unlimited is a single non-consumable purchase — never a subscription. It unlocks 8K still export, looping video and Live Photo export, mirror counts above twelve, and all seventeen wallpaper groups. Everything else, including the tools, layers, undo and the pattern library, is free.

How do I move a drawing to another app?

Use Share from the canvas. PNG (with transparent layers if you want them), a looping video, a Live Photo, or a wallpaper-sized crop can go straight to Photos, Files or any share sheet destination.

How do I report a bug in Mecmua?

Email cihatsalik1@gmail.com with your device model, iOS or macOS version, the app version shown in Settings, and the steps that produce the problem. A screenshot or screen recording makes it far quicker to fix.

How do I restore a purchase?

Purchases are tied to the Apple ID that made them. Sign in with that Apple ID, open the purchase screen in the app and use Restore. If the restore does not complete, email cihatsalik1@gmail.com with the date of purchase.

How do I request a refund?

Refunds are issued by Apple, not by the developer. Use Apple's "Report a Problem" page at reportaproblem.apple.com, or the refund flow in the App Store.
