Meshk - Handwriting Practice

This privacy policy applies to the Meshk app (the "Application") for iOS on iPhone and iPad, created by Cihat SALIK (the "Service Provider"). The Application is offered as a service and is intended for use "AS IS".

Meshk is a handwriting and calligraphy practice app that lets you trace and learn multiple writing systems with Apple Pencil. It is designed to work fully on your device.

Meshk stores the information you create in the app — such as practice strokes, lesson and exam progress, earned stars, course and difficulty settings, and any fonts you import — locally on your device.

This data is not transmitted to the Service Provider's servers by the Application for normal operation. The Service Provider does not receive copies of your handwriting, your practice scores, or your imported font files through Meshk.

Meshk lets you import your own writing styles from SVG, TTF/OTF, or .meshkfont.json files that you choose. Files you import are processed and stored on your device to generate practice courses. The Service Provider does not upload or collect these files.

To provide stroke tracing and validation, Meshk uses input from the touchscreen and Apple Pencil (including pressure and movement) on your device. This input is processed locally to score your strokes and is not sent to the Service Provider.

The Application is not designed to show third-party advertising inside the app, does not require you to create an account with the Service Provider for core features, and does not sell your personal information. If analytics or similar tools are added in a future version, this policy will be updated to describe them.

If Meshk offers any paid features or subscriptions, payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. The Service Provider does not receive or store your payment card details. Apple's handling of purchases is governed by Apple's own terms and privacy practices.

The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through Meshk. Because the Application stores practice data only on the device and does not require an account, no personal information is transmitted to the Service Provider.

The security of your on-device data depends on your device passcode and biometric settings. The Service Provider recommends keeping iOS up to date and using the device security features offered by Apple.

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating this page and the "Last updated" information where shown. Continued use of the Application after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
