İlmek: Knitting Pattern Maker

This privacy policy applies to the İlmek app (the "Application") for iOS on iPhone and iPad, created by Cihat SALIK (the "Service Provider"). The Application is offered as a service and is intended for use "AS IS".

İlmek is a pattern studio for weaving, knitting, crochet and oya. Your patterns, the yarns you choose, your exports and your preferences are created and kept on your device.

İlmek contains no networking code. It makes no requests to the Service Provider or to any third party, so nothing about you, your device or your patterns is ever sent anywhere. There is no account, no sign-in, no analytics SDK, no crash reporter and no advertising.

The only network traffic connected to the App at all is Apple's own: the App Store downloads and updates it, and StoreKit verifies your purchases. Neither is operated by the Service Provider.

Charts, yarn choices, colourways, the 3D render, structure checks, undo history and your app settings are stored locally on your device. Exports — PDF charts, WIF loom drafts, PNG renders and .ilmek project files — are written where you send them with the system share sheet or the Files app.

The Application asks for no permissions. It does not request access to your photo library, camera, microphone, contacts or location, and it cannot read them.

The Application contains no analytics or tracking SDK. It shows no third-party advertising, does not require you to create an account with the Service Provider, and does not sell your personal information. If analytics or similar tools are added in a future version, this policy will be updated to describe them.

Drawing is free: every craft, all 17 templates, the live yarn render and the structure check, with no account and no time limit. İlmek Pro adds printable chart PDFs, WIF loom drafts, the loom draft in the Inspector, Full relax and High detail rendering, and charts up to 512 × 512. It is offered yearly with a free trial, monthly, or as one lifetime payment. Payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. The Service Provider does not receive or store your payment card details. Apple's handling of purchases, renewals and restores is governed by Apple's own terms and privacy practices.

The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through İlmek. The Application sends nothing over the network, requires no account and asks for no permissions, so there is nothing for it to collect.

The security of your on-device patterns depends on your device passcode and biometric settings. The Service Provider recommends keeping iOS up to date and using the device security features offered by Apple.

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating this page and the "Last updated" information where shown. Continued use of the Application after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
