Folio - Photo Collage — Terms of Use

Folio is a photo and video collage, story and carousel editor for iOS (iPhone and iPad) offered by Cihat SALIK ("we," "us," or "our"). It lets you arrange your own photos and videos into templated layouts, add text, stickers and shape layers, and export the result as an image or video. Most of the App is free to use; higher-resolution unmarked export, video export, a custom brand stamp and your own fonts are available through a paid subscription or one-time purchase called Folio Pro. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

You must be at least 13 years of age (or the minimum age required in your country to consent to use of the App) to use the App. If you are under 18, you should use the App only with the involvement of a parent or guardian. By using the App, you represent that you meet these requirements.

3.1 Plans

• Folio Pro Weekly, Monthly, or Yearly: Auto-renewable subscriptions billed at the chosen interval. Each gives access to Folio Pro features for the period you paid for.

• Folio Pro Lifetime: A non-consumable purchase. Paid once, it is not a subscription — nothing renews and nothing is billed again.

Folio Pro removes the watermark from exports, raises export resolution up to 3×, unlocks video export, and unlocks the brand stamp and custom fonts features. The exact contents of each plan are described in the App and on its App Store product page and may change as the App develops.

3.2 Billing and Renewal (subscriptions only)

• Subscriptions are auto-renewable. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period (week, month, or year) unless you cancel before the end of the current period.

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase and at each renewal.

• Prices are in the currency of your App Store region and may change with notice to the extent allowed by Apple's policies and applicable law.

• Some plans may include an introductory offer, such as a free trial; its terms are shown before purchase.

3.3 Cancellation and Refunds

• Cancellation: You may turn off auto-renewal at any time in your device Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions, then select Folio and turn off renewal. Cancellation stops future charges but does not refund the current period.

• Refunds: Refund requests are handled by Apple, not by us. To request a refund, use Apple's "Report a Problem" or the refund flow in the App Store. We do not control Apple's refund decisions.

3.4 Lifetime Purchase

The Lifetime plan is a single payment that never renews or expires. Because it is non-consumable, you can restore it on your other devices signed in with the same Apple ID using the Restore Purchases option in the App.

3.5 Access After a Subscription Ends

When a Folio Pro subscription expires or is cancelled, access to Pro features ends at the end of the paid period and the App returns to its free tier. Your existing projects and prior exports are not deleted and remain usable; new exports made after that point follow the free tier's limits.

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation.

• Infringe or misuse the intellectual property or other rights of us or any third party.

• Transmit harmful, offensive, or illegal content, or use the App to harass or harm others.

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code of the App (except as allowed by mandatory law).

• Circumvent or abuse subscription, access control, or security features.

• Use the App to build a similar or competing product or service.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms.

Your projects: You keep ownership of the photos, videos, and projects you create or arrange in the App. We claim no rights in your content and do not need a license to it, because it never leaves your device on our account.

On-device operation: Folio reads the photos and videos you choose from your device's photo library to build a project, and renders, stores and exports your projects on-device. We do not require an account and do not upload your photo library.

Privacy: Collection and use of your data are described in our Privacy Policy at https://apps.cihat.dev/folio/privacy-policy/. By using the App, you also agree to that policy.

The App (including its design, code, templates, text, graphics, and the "Folio" name and branding) is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by copyright and other laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to our trademarks or other IP except the limited right to use the App as permitted here.

The App is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not promise that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or fit for any particular purpose.

We are not responsible for any loss of content (for example, projects or exports) due to device failure, user action, or other causes. You are responsible for backing up your content as you see fit, for example by exporting to Photos or Files.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

• We (and our affiliates and suppliers) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the App or inability to use it.

• Our total liability for any claims arising from or related to the App or these Terms shall not exceed the amount you actually paid us for the App and subscriptions in the twelve (12) months before the claim (or, if no payment, zero).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers or limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you; in that case our liability is limited to the greatest extent allowed by law.

We may update the App (including features and subscription offerings) from time to time. Where the law requires, we will notify you of material changes to the service or subscription terms.

We may change these Terms. We will post the updated Terms at https://apps.cihat.dev/folio/terms-of-use/ and update the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after the change constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, you must stop using the App and may cancel your subscription as described in Section 3.3.

Your use of the App is also subject to Apple's applicable terms, including the App Store Terms of Use and the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions, where relevant. In case of conflict between those and these Terms regarding the App's subscription or use, these Terms govern the relationship between you and us; Apple's terms govern your relationship with Apple.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Turkey, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from or related to the App or these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Istanbul, Turkey, to the extent permitted by law.

Entire agreement: These Terms (together with our Privacy Policy and any in-app terms we expressly reference) constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the App.

Severability: If any part of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.

No waiver: Our failure to enforce any right or provision does not waive that right or provision.
