Folio - Photo Collage

This privacy policy applies to the Folio app (the "Application") for iOS on iPhone and iPad, created by Cihat SALIK (the "Service Provider"). The Application is offered as a service and is intended for use "AS IS".

Folio is a photo and video collage, story and carousel editor. Your projects, the photos and videos you add to them, and your exports are created and kept on your device.

Folio asks for photo library access so you can pick the photos and videos you want to use in a project. Only the items you explicitly select are read by the App; Folio does not scan, index, or upload your library.

Editing, rendering, face-aware crop detection, and export are all performed on your device. Your photos and videos are never uploaded to the Service Provider's servers or to any third-party service, and sharing a project only happens when you choose to share or export it yourself.

Projects, layers, undo history, templates, custom fonts, your brand stamp, cached image renders, and your app preferences are stored locally on your device. Purchase and subscription state is provided by Apple's StoreKit. This data is not transmitted to the Service Provider for normal operation of the Application.

The Application does not show third-party advertising, does not require you to create an account with the Service Provider, and does not sell your personal information. If analytics or similar tools are added in a future version, this policy will be updated to describe them.

Folio is free to use. The optional Folio Pro subscription (weekly, monthly, or yearly) and the optional lifetime purchase, which unlock higher-resolution unmarked export, video export, the brand stamp and custom fonts, are processed by Apple through the App Store. The Service Provider does not receive or store your payment card details. Apple's handling of purchases and restores is governed by Apple's own terms and privacy practices.

The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through Folio. Because the Application edits and stores everything on the device and does not require an account, no personal information is transmitted to the Service Provider.

The security of your on-device projects and photos depends on your device passcode and biometric settings. The Service Provider recommends keeping iOS up to date and using the device security features offered by Apple.

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating this page and the "Last updated" information where shown. Continued use of the Application after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
