FocusCard: Screen Time Block
Privacy Policy
FocusCard is designed for privacy: your cards, schedules, app groups and session history stay on your iPhone or iPad.
Overview
This privacy policy applies to the FocusCard app (the "Application") for iOS on iPhone and iPad, created by Cihat SALIK (the "Service Provider"). The Application is offered with a free tier and optional paid features, and is intended for use "AS IS".
FocusCard lets you plan app blocks as cards on a 24-hour grid using Apple's Screen Time and Family Controls frameworks. It does not use a VPN and does not install configuration profiles.
Data Stored on Your Device
FocusCard stores what you create in the app — cards, presets, repeat rules, app groups, daily limit settings, completed sessions, streaks and related preferences — locally on your device using SwiftData and on-device app storage.
This data is not transmitted to the Service Provider's servers for normal operation. The Service Provider does not receive copies of your schedule or your Screen Time app selections.
Apple Screen Time and System Services
To apply app shields and daily limits, FocusCard relies on Apple's Screen Time, Family Controls, Managed Settings, Device Activity and related system APIs. Those features are provided by Apple and governed by Apple's own terms and privacy practices.
The apps and categories you pick are handed to the system as opaque tokens; the Application cannot read which apps they stand for. Authorization and changes you make in iOS Settings or the system Screen Time UI may affect how blocking behaves. FocusCard does not filter or monitor web browsing in Safari.
Usage Reports
Daily limit and usage figures are produced inside an Apple Device Activity report extension that runs on your device. That data is rendered for you by the system and is not exported from the device by the Application.
Purchases
FocusCard Pro is sold as an auto-renewing subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase. Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store using StoreKit. The Service Provider receives no payment card details and keeps no billing records of its own; purchase and subscription status is read from Apple on your device. Apple's terms and privacy policy govern the transaction.
Analytics, Advertising, and Accounts
The Application does not show third-party advertising, does not require you to create an account with the Service Provider, and does not sell your personal information. If analytics or similar tools are added in a future version, this policy will be updated to describe them.
Children
The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through FocusCard. Parents and guardians who use Screen Time and Family Controls for family devices should refer to Apple's documentation for child accounts and parental controls.
If you believe information was collected from a child inappropriately, contact the Service Provider at cihatsalik1@gmail.com.
Security
The security of your on-device data depends on your device passcode and biometric settings. The Service Provider recommends keeping iOS up to date and using the device security features offered by Apple.
Changes
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating this page and the "Last updated" information where shown. Continued use of the Application after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
